leading the charge in health care information technology (IT) spending over the
next four years. That according to a report from government research firm
INPUT.INPUT is reporting that annual spending on health care IT will rise from $6.9 billion in 2007 to $10.8 billion by 2012.
Investments in MMIS technology is expected to generate $3.9 billion at the state and local levels.
