In partnership with Community Catalyst, Families USA, and Tremont Strategies Group, CareQuest Institute for Oral Health (CareQuest Institute) is seeking to better understand the policy and political environments surrounding teledentistry at the state level. To that end, they have developed a brief survey for key stakeholders in a small group of states. Two of those states (Virginia and North Carolina) are in the MATRC Region so I’ve offered to help distribute this survey.
The purpose of the survey is two-fold: to provide an initial landscape assessment regarding teledentistry policy and related state-based activities; and to serve as a beta-test of this survey tool. Once CareQuest Institute has surveyed the policy landscape, they intend to work with partners and advocates across the country to develop informational resources and tools to promote teledentistry as a means to increase access to and utilization of care, lower health care costs, and reduce health disparities.
CareQuest Institute requests that you or your designee complete this survey by March 11, 2022.
