Advocacy and Policy
VTN plays a critical role in advancing telehealth within the Commonwealth. The organization works with a government relations firm to help create deeper relationships with state and local elected officials and state regulatory bodies. Currently, VTN is leading enhancement to Virginia’s State Telehealth Plan. By becoming a member, you can add your voice toward helping advocate for and ensure the future of telehealth in the Commonwealth.
Up-to-date Telehealth Resources and Announcements
Through social media, an e-newsletter and the VTN blog, VTN provides time-sensitive resources and announcements. For members, special news, events, and information are shared on the Members Only section of the website and emailed directly to their inbox.
Shared Resources Through VTN’s Members Only Section
VTN is pleased to launch its Members Only section on our website. After logging in, members receive enhanced telehealth content and resources, access to a communications board with other VTN members, and the ability to post or see listings for potential jobs in telehealth.
Education
VTN is committed to offering education through webinars on topics of interest to the telehealth community, including legislative updates, post-Public Health Emergency regulation changes, best practices, etc. Webinar and virtual event registration are available to VTN members for free or at a discounted rate. Special consideration is given to VTN members for MATRC Summits through reduced pricing or reserved spots.
Networking
By joining VTN, your voice will be added to the growing list of interested individuals and organizations committed to telehealth in Virginia. Whereas meeting in person can be difficult, we are planning creative ways to meet and mingle virtually throughout the year. In addition, there are opportunities to share job listings, resources, and other information with VTN members.
